The tax letter is on the table. Scan it with the camera, or add a PDF or photo. Papercove reads the text right away.

What stays on your device
Your documents never leave this iPhone or iPad unless you export them, send them to a nearby device, or make an encrypted backup.
The AI runs on this device, not on a server, not even Apple's Private Cloud Compute.
Documents aren't included in your iCloud backup. So if you get a new device without a backup, your documents are lost. Turn on Backup in Settings.
No account, no analytics, no ads. The App Store privacy label says Data Not Collected.

What Papercove can't do
- Questions and summaries need iOS 26 and 6 GB of memory or more: iPhone 12 Pro, 13 Pro, iPhone 14 or later, and most recent iPads. Other devices still scan, read, search and remind.
- The AI is a one-time download of about 2.8 GB, over Wi-Fi unless you change that.
- It's excellent for everyday documents. It isn't a replacement for large cloud AI models.
- It doesn't read handwriting.
- Answers can be wrong. They aren't medical, legal or financial advice, so check the source page.
